“I love telling stories that make people smile and reflect on the sweet, amusing side of life,” says Ed Lewis. The retired Early Childhood Professor speaks with a slight Southern drawl left from his West Virginia roots. A teller of tall tales and other outrageous anecdotes from his travels in the United States, Africa, and Europe he has won the award for “Best Liar” in Sacramento and “Biggest Liar” in Auburn. He goes on to say, “Stories can teach, preach, comfort and encourage.” All of which Lewis will be using when he collaborates with Joan McCammon for the 9:30 Children’s Stories Hour. Look for their stories to feature puppets, singing, and musical exuberance.
